t replacement after successful surgey. time frame

Does anyone know if theres a standard among doctors about when a good time to start t replacement is after surgery? I have been reading anywhere from 6 months to 5 years.

Im two years out and the thought of waiting another 3 yrs seems like a very long time since I,ve been 0.1 every test after rrp.

Also, Does anyone knows of an  endo who does this kind of treatment in the philadelphia area?  

I called a Dr. Bazzaan but he doesnt take our ins and wanted $350 the first visit and $250 every follow up which was all gonna be out of pocket. Just cant afford it.

What is your "T" level now? Just because you had surgery does not mean you need "T" replacement....

I am 6 years post op with 0 psa's and gleason 6 cancer, and my uro said that it is safe for me to start T replacement which I will start next month. 

My uro also said that she likes to wait 5 years and will only do it wilth someone who had a gleason 6 in the pathology report after surgery.  She said that with gleason 7 or above there is just too much risk of cancer returning , so she will not consider T replacement forr those guys no matter how long they have had 0 psa's.

My uro just told me that when I pass the 2 year mark with zeros, we can start. Don't know my readings before, or now. All that worries me a little, but we'll discuss in depth when we get there in 3 months. Assuming one more -0-!
