Hello Galileo. Thanks for the shout out. PSA test came back at <0.01, undetectable. Testosterone level is 272, on the low side of the normal range. This is at 4 years post-diagnosis, 3.5 years post-surgery, 3 years post RT, and 2.6 years post HT completion. I have been very fortunate to have gotten consistent zeros on all psa tests. Due to my PT3b status, I chose to go Adjuvant therapy for RT and HT, and not wait for a psa rise. In my case, it has worked out.
I now see the Uro every 6 months, get my psa result, talk about wine for a few minutes, then he says - see you again in 6 months. I don't think I can ever call myself cured, but I am in remission. Life is good.
