My testosterone before treatment was 90 and after treatment has risen to 350, low but acceptable. I have had more than a few nights trying to decide if doing testosterone treatment was similar to playing Russian Ruelette but was assured that based on my tests to that point, I was a good candidate. In theory I would not be at any more risk than someone with normal testosterone levels recovering from PCa. As in life for every good thing there has to be a negative and doctors are watching for polycythemia or the production of too many red blood cells. Donating to the Blood Bank is an opportunity.
The bruising improvement is an unknown effect which may or may not be attributed to the testosterone supplement. Whatever it is it is nice not to bleed to death every time you try to do any work. My doctor was quite interested in this anomaly so I’m sure he is going to start researching it.
