Heavily leaning towards seeds for my treatment. Have narrowed it down to a few docs in different parts of the country. All are ok'd by my insurance and have family and friends in all of these areas. Just wondering if anybody would be willing to sahre their experience with the following in regards to seeds:

1) Peter Grimm in Seattle
2) David Beyer in Phoenix/Scottsdale
3) Brian Moran in Chicago

I read a post a while back on here about the CU med center and how good they treated him ,and had some new procedures , he saw it on TV here in Denver , a news anchor had PC and they treated him also. I also talked to a guy the other day at a rec center who was telling me about The CANCER CENTER , he highly recommended them ,and told me about the high level of support they gave him ,. I can't say the same as I was treated by Urology Associates of Denver , I don't have cancer anymore but I went through hell with them , very little support from them . Just thought I would mention these to you , take your time and feel real good about the direction you decide to take . I live in Morrison.

Based on their reported results, the best LDR guys in the West are Grimm in Seattle and Taira in Mountain View, CA. Merrick at Schiffler in WV, and some of the Drs at MDAnderson and MSK report great results as well. For HDR, my choices would be Demanes at UCLA or Martinez at Wm Beaumont in MI.

There may be many other good ones, but I think those are justifiably famous.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Brian Moran and the Chicago Prostate Center. Dr. Moran has has done over 15,000 procedures. He seeded me two months ago. I felt a strong level of confidence with him.

I know of the other doctors by reputation and think all three are fantastic.

I think you're making the right choice with brachytherapy.

I had my LDR Brachytherapy mono-therapy 8 months ago with Dr Brian Moran and the CPC (see my signature) and am beyond ecstatic.... I am 100% back to my normal self with no SE's and a great PSA.

I went with LDR Brachytherapy and Dr Moran after an exhaustive search to find the best, and I did.....
