Fantastic news Sonny!! You are an inspiration to all of us going through the crap. Moving to a bigger place to hold a Eastern GFMPH in sunny Florida? Hope it's by the beach, with good fishing or girl watching..naaa fishing. BTW…. Patsy loves her bag…. Thanks again. bertb

Great news Sonny.
I look forward to celebrating it with you in person when we get together in Florida in August.
Like you, we will be relying more on the bone scan every 3 months than on the PSA readings per se since other than doubling rate, it was not a very reliable indicator in my case. This was for a different reason though, my tested PSA was never higher than 3.68 and I still ended up G9 (4+5) and 5 bony mets.

Jim, look forward to seeing you guys in August. Stay in touch and let me know when you're back. June will definitely be busy with moving, but I look forward to it.
See ya soon,
Sonny

Sonny, I like the good, gooder and gooderest news. Each one of us has a choice of how to deal with their cancer and you chose Qol. I admire the way you are dealing with it. I wish you the best.

Bronson, thanks for the kind words brother. While I do feel that most of the time I have my $*%& together, it seems at other times I have it gathered, but just can't seem to pick it up. LOL
Ed, there are times that many of us here have posted that in some ways we have experienced blessings that came along with this Pca crap. I for one have found friends that I never would have if not for Pca.
Dealing with my wife's cancer for 3+ years before my diagnosis and then another 3+ years afterward sure made it easier for me to deal with mine. For the most part I never really had time to have cancer. I guess that is so ingrained in me that I am just continuing along that path.
Interestingly that subject came up while having dinner with my son the night before my Onco visit. He had just come to town for a few days. In addition to all of the wonderful opportunities he has in his future, he is a Certified Personal trainer. He studies health and nutrition constantly.
When were talking about
my appt he said, "Dad I am not really concerned about
your appt, everything is fine and will be okay." He reasoned this by saying that he has studied the effects of stress, worry, angst and so on as concerns health. He told me that my positive attitude about
this from the very beginning was the reason that I would be okay and would continue to be so. I have not feed my cancer with the fuels supplied by negativity, doubt, stress, worry and the like.
I gotta tell you that hearing that from my 25 years old son almost brought me to tears. I think I have planted some of the seeds of a positive approach to life in him as well.
FWIW,
Sonny

Sonny, I used to live in both Titusville and Cocoa. You'll enjoy checking out the north end of Playalinda Beach...

Casey, you are correct. I have already experienced Playalinda as well as the extreme southern end of Apollo Beach in New Smyrna. Both are really nice and I go there to get my EXTREME doses of vitamin D.

Casey, we lived in Cocoa Beach, Merritt Island, and Cape Caneveral many years ago. My oldest son was born at Cape Canaveral Hospital on the causeway.

So Sonny, you going to end up in one of my old stomping grounds. You going to be on the Indian River or the Banana River?

Great news on all fronts, Sonny!
Oh, BTW, Port Canaveral has some awesome cruises leaving from there.... Just sayin'! ;)

Always GREAT to hear good (and gooder/gooderest) news. Thanks for sharing the good reports and your journey.
Make that steak medium rare and make sure the beer is nice and cold!
