Tony, I understand what you're saying, but I think it would be a mis-step for you to reduce your presence here on HW.
HW seems like a large enough meeting place for multiple discussions. It's like a large meeting hall. In one corner there might be a conversation about someone newly diagnosed and trying to find their way in this confusing world of prostate cancer.
In another corner we might find a member looking for comfort over the death of a loved one.
In the middle of the room, perhaps there's an intellectual discussion about new treatments that offer promise for advanced disease.
In another corner, there's a somewhat heated argument about the appropriate role of the PSA test in the diagnosis of PCa. (btw, I hope you'll read my last post in the thread I started about "who speaks for us." I hope it will explain why I have some problems with talk of eliminating the PSA test, overdiagnosis, and overtreatment).
Other conversations around the room may be about a member's deteriorating health, or a need to start hormone therapy, or a congratulatory welcome into the Zero Club.
I don't see why we need to eliminate any of these discussions, or why we would want to.
The really dangerous situation would be when we all find ourselves agreeing on topics that should be controversial or challenging. That would only mean we've all been lulled into a false sense of complacency.
