First injection today

I had my first injection in the doc's office today. Overall experience wasn't bad at all (but sticking a needle into willy was a bit surreal).

Doc is starting me on bimix because of my young age, health, and good erectile function pre-surgery. We'll switch to trimix if needed.

Today's trial dose was 0.06cc of bimix. Got a slight bit chubby (2 out of 10), and set a baseline for increasing dosage. The plan is to increase to 0.1, 0.15, 0.2... until I get a good result.

Question: Is there an optimal location for the injections along the length of the shaft (closer to the base vs. closer to the tip)?

Gave myself my first one on Monday.

Instructions I have are to inject in the back half of the shaft (between your body and half-way toward the tip) between the 2-3 or 9-10 o'clock orientations, avoiding any visible veins.

As short as I feel right now, that didn't leave much of a target area for me.

In the base half but not too close to the body. Alternate sides, left and right, and try to avoid the larger surface veins.

Sometimes I use my VED a bit before I inject to avoid the micro-surgery aspect.
