I agree withn asking the abuse questions.

I have not been asked some of the others you mentioned.

I'm sure there are plenty of other questions that could be asked -- and indeed it could get ridiculous.

But that's true in all facets of life. Take things to extreme and things get silly!

I've noticed the question being asked by doctors and hospitals very recently. It doesn't bother me, although I admit, it surprised me the first time I was asked. If asking the question can help just one woman who is the victim of domestic abuse, I'm all for it.

Never heard of that myself here in NY.....and if they asked my wife that...I have to admit I'd feel a little pissed. Seems a little unprofessional to me.

Anything that helps stop or reduce domestic violence is to be welcomed. Domestic violence is often not how you might think it is.
The press in the UK have been following a recent public instance of domestic violence bewteen a high profile couple.
