In my opinion, don't think about
an implant until you are at least 2 years past surgery. You still have much healing to do. At your age you have an excellent chance in regaining your pre- surgery erections. I was thinking just as you at 1 year. I was using Bimix and indeed the injections became more and more troublesome. They took the mood away and I had sex less and less. I was 59 years old at that time. At 15 months erections started to return with only 5 mg. of Cialis. At 18 months no Cialis was needed. At less than 23 months, (just last night as matter of fact) I was able to get a very good erection without stimulation (just metal thoughts alone!). And the sex was about
98% of what it was prior to surgery. My wife said I was smiling in my sleep!
I went to a ED surgeon at 1 year post surgery and he showed my wife and I "before and after" photos of guys with implants. Boy did I want "one of those". I never, ever would have thought that my erections would return. But here I am less than 2 years out and I honestly believe that I will be 100% within the next few months.
One thing that I learned from this is that the more you worry, the more diificult it will be to obtain an erection. Stress is a real ereection killer. So try to relax and I can almost garantee you that things will improve just as well as they did for me. Relax and good luck!
