Ok it is my first and last shot of decapeptyl so I will have to be patient, I have noticed some slight lessening of the effects and I did talk to a pharmacist while playing golf with him, he was not sure but suggested a "half-life" of maybe 30% or so and that kinda goes with what you are saying. No recovery seems a bit hard surely a shot of testosterone would kick it into the long grass.
The only reason I had this was because I was going to have radio therapy treatment and then changed my mind, lucky for me cos the tumour when removed and examined proved to have developed three or four aggressive areas near to the surface of the prostate capsule.
I am 12 weeks post op and almost normal, continent after catheter removal which was 3 weeks post op not able to have an erection yet but with this fxxxing decapeptyl I am not surprised but apart from that all is good, I even had an inguinal hernia repaired at the same time and that gave me more grief than the prostate, which was done by laparoscapy.
I am 60 years old and in fine shape the docs could not believe how quickly I healed and got back to normal. I had nerve sparing surgery , the nerves on my right side being spared.
Thanks for all the replies, no I do not have any vids of the band I played in but I have a 5 string Yamaha bass, a 4 string fretless bass, a Spanish guitar, and electric guitar and finally a red flying v ukulele.
Adios Amigos, Tony.
I have read that Zufus plays a mean guitar.
