Hi...my 1st post

Hi ..to all

I m from the other side of earth...SG

My name is euhock, age 60 I m a widower, has a pair of grown up kid. I m a frequent user of local forum.

I was diagnosed as stage 3 prostate cancer this year Jun'13.  After google-ing for some days I came across this wonderful site. With many good info & sharing about this disease.  The best part is plenty of encouragements to each other.

I m on the 5th day post RRP.

Will shortly input my details as I figured out how to use the page signature...etc

Welcome to Healing Well. Glad you found the site. It is a great place to obtain information and support on all things PC.

So 5 days since surgery. You should definitely be taking time now in the next month or so and heal. So take it easy.

Keep us posted on how you are doing and don't be a stranger at HW.

Welcome. You probably already know, but just so you are not surprised or discouraged, when the catheter comes out you will probably have a few weeks of incontinence -- especially when first standing up from a sitting or lying position. This is normal. This should resolve to leaking less and less over a period of weeks and probably being pad-free after a few months. That was my experience, and many guys have done considerably better.

Yah...experiencing incontinence...ATM, catheter removal 6 hrs ago, still dipping.  Using the 3th pad already.

Guess need to be patience...for the better to come :lol
