Tony, good commercial. Up here in the Northeast, when Breast Cancer Awareness month rolls around in October, it's non-stop advertisements...daughters telling their mom's to get a mammogram; sisters telling sisters; even a few husband's thrown in telling their wives to make that appointment now. Every park has a BCa walk (we participate in one on behalf of our neighbor, a BCA survivor). I think there's one walk in NYC in September for PCa...that's it (as far as I know). Why is it that there is so little attention given to PCa? Is it cause guys tend to put their heads in the sand when it comes to their "privates"? I don't know, but I do know that my husband and I are big on speaking to the men in our lives about
getting screened.

Sephie this commercial was filmed and aired in 2010 during baseball commercials in the month of June when the PCF has their awareness month. If you ever remember seeing the prompts at the checkout during June for Prostate Cancer it's all part of the same PCF campaign.
This is a great commercial. I will reach out to Dan Zenka at PCF and ask him why we don't see it on the air anymore. Rosey Grier and Vida Blue are bigtime sports guys and were great in this commercial. This should be airing at every major sporting event.
Guys don't talk about
their reproductive stuff like the girls. The guys that are afflicted will usually talk but men won't typically talk about
it until it's a problem.
Sad but true.

Tony, you're correct about
guys not wanting to talk about
it. As you can see, I posted it on my facebook page. Aside from one HW guy who was diagnosed, and ONE other guy... the rest of the communication is all by females.
It's still early yet, but I will report back. :)
