For those guys who do ED injections, what's your injection technique? A quick jab insertion, or slow and steady?
I do the slow and steady method, but that means that I feel resistance (and sometimes a tad of pain) at every tissue layer until I reach full needle insertion depth.
I'd much rather be able to do a quick jab to get the needle inserted as quickly as possible, but I'm concerned that I won't get the right positioning of the needle due to the fast movement.
Thoughts?

..I find thus far a glass of red wine or a glass of Grey Goose with Pama and club soda before hand and the the old slow and steady wins the race method works for me. I do understand the resistance thing and getting that last bit in is the hardest part. I feel a quick jab would not be as controllable but I have considered your same question myself. They make an auto pen injector that might work for you gedman..

I've done it every which way and they all are OK and they are all kinda annoying. I have a push button injector and that has a lot going for it. It is the least painful and it lets you control the depth of the jab (even the short needles are longer than you need) but exactly
where
you inject is sort of approximate with the injector since the needle doesn't come out of the exact center of the end. I alternate between the slow manual jab and the push button injector which is really fast.

Nothing done with the tip of a needle or the muzzle of a .45 is done in a hurry. Even the fastest move must have a measure of determination and precision. Need I remind anyone what it looks like when you hit a vein? She'll freak out so bad that it will be a shot wasted. Wait, who was doing the shooting?

I close my eyes and jab. Wait a minute, that explains why my hands are rock hard during the night. Never mind!

I will admit, sticking a needle in your member is a tough thing to do. However, as a diabetic for 25 years I found needle size and sharpness are important in addition to a swift insertion to cause least anxiety and pain. For ED mix, most needles are about
same length. The 29 and 30 gauge are common and a 31 gauge is a bit smaller. I use BD syringes. Obviously never reuse because it is only not sterile, but the needle dulls with one use.
So, smallest needle and a swift stick.
