20 months and waiting/bimix not working

    I have been waiting 20 months now for anything to happen but the light switch is not even flickering.  I hear that it will sometimes go on just like that. The only thing that seems to be happening is "willie" is getting smaller. (I still use a VED) Well, I now have 4 months to that 24 month mark I read about for healing. BUT, I don't think its going to happen.

    My bimix just went to a 40/1 mix and I am using .80 now with not a whole lot of luck. The results I get are not good for much of anything.

    I guess I will have to take the plunge to trimix the next time I see my URO. Is there that big of a change in results when you go to trimix?

I just don't like injecting myself with so much every time. I do like the fact that with trimix you can use less.

Trimix states it usually works when BiMix doesn't. I would definitely give it a try. And it sounds like the trimix dose is much smaller.

Wessy: You must give the TriMix at least a try. That third ingredient should get you hard and that is indeed why it is more potent than Bimix. It shouldn't be any more difficult...you already mastered the injection process! It is key to get some type of erections to keep from getting smaller. Do you get any erections during deep REM sleep? This where 5 mg. of Cialis may help. Many guys give up on the Cialis for sex and say that it doesn't work, but what they may be missing is that during deep REM sleep, Cialis has a good track record of giving nocturnal erections. And that is good for keeping our little friend "in shape". Another thing is that if you do achieve erections using TriMix, this may indeed jump start you to regular natural erections. I credit the Bimix that I used with good results for 6 months for finally giving me back natural erections. And it took me well over a year for natural erections to even start. Now at 26 months, I can get natural erections with a little stimulation and some mental thought. It was a tough fight for me. Don't give up...it may take longer (much longer) than our doctors' tell us.

Wessy -- The 18 to 24 months recovery time for ED after surgery...like 142 said, is just a guideline. Don't give up hope; for some guys, it just takes longer - 3 years even. The stress and anxiety that 142 talks about, generates adrenaline in you body...and adrenaline is a natural enemy of erections.

I agree with everyone who posted: see what happens with Trimix. According to Dr. Mulhall, Trimix works for 90% of men. It has the 3rd ingredient that Bimix doesn't have - prostaglandin, which makes Trimix more potent. Some men are sensitive to Prostaglandin and therefore experience a painful erection. The amount of sensitivity varies for different men, so the pain level varies. I had a mild ache when I first started using Trimix, but it went away over time. Most men, however, tolerate Trimix well an experience little or no pain. Other options down the line, if Trimix doesn't work are Quadmix and 100% prostaglandin.

Wessy, don't give up. I also went for so long without any appreciable results to show for my efforts. I kept taking 5mg of Levitra every night, used a VED (which gave me usable erections and injected trimix 2-3 times per week for over year without getting usable erections. I was injecting up to 95 units on the weaker formula of trimix without good results and then my urologist switched me to the stronger formula. I went up to 95 units on that too without getting a usable erection. Suddenly, about a month ago, I started getting firm erections at 95 units and have since moved down to 60 units with equally satisfying results. So, I've learned to stay with the program, even if it looks like there's no payoff early on. All of us are different and our paths to healing and recovery can be shorter or longer than other people. As others have said, the "2-year limit" is not a barrier to continued progress.
