Lomg time since my last post

Greatings from Finland
Since my initial psa of 700 and dg.G9 in 12/2012 it's been quite a bumpy ride.
Psa down to 2,99 in a short period of time with firmagon/ casodex+
Zometa for bone mets. Slight rise in psa in june/2013, was immidietly
taken of firmagon/casodex and put on taxotere(every two weeks)+pred.and androcur with
Zometa still for bones. It worked for awhile and psa down from 3,8
to just abowe 2,3. After a few weeks slight psa rise again an it was quite devastating time for me couse it seemed like nothing works more
than a few weeks or so.
Then got started with mitotranxone 1 shot/week for six weeks, still had my zometa shots once a month and firmagon back on the list. Psa lowerd slightly for a while before a slight rise, then my onc decided to start zytiga/pred.and ebrt soon but before that i had samarium treatment and seeds implanted. Zytiga seemed to work well and lowered psa to 2.11 and then we started my rt, psa test 4 weeks after
starting radiaton was 0,25(zytiga working?) just had my last (of 8weeks)rt treatment
yesterday and bloodwork done a few days before with psa of 0,15..
Just hoping that the mix of zytiga/ firmagon/ zometa keeps working for a long time..my onc seems optimistic and hopefull...lots of options allready and near future in his oppinion.

Congratulations on finishing your 8 wks of radiation! And few SEs. You have had quite the journey over the last year. A lot of Sisu on your part!

Sounds like a good onco is in charge. Please keep up the hard fight. All here are pulling for you and best wishes.

There is a lot of experience here at all gleason levels, and you will find good info when they join in later or you ask questions.
