Guys,

Tomorrow I'll join a lot of you that opted for surgery as your treatment option for Pca.  I'm very confident of my surgeon, Dr. Joel Nelson of UPMC-Shadyside in Pittsburgh.  He has done about 2900 procedures including two of my friends. 

This site has helped me so much about the issues of PCA.  I'm sure I'll have a few more questions on the "other side"

after surgery.

My tip: Try to drink water and walk as soon as your body can handle it, to help with recovery.

Good luck to you tomorrow, I had my surgery on a Tuesday also. I had to do bowel prep on a Monday, no fun. You will do fine and you'll be surprised how well you'll feel in no time. See you on the other side!

Best of luck. I had my surgery 10.24.13 and am doing fine today. Good advice to start walking and drink water.

Best of luck Berk.  Lots of experience on this site to help you through "the other side".  I think confidence is a key, and it sounds like you have it!
