I've started throwing these in my salads. One of the biggest obstacles was always how to peel the darn things.

For Christmas dinner I like to stir a handful into a bowl of buttered green peas right before I serve them (pomegranate arils* don't like to be cooked.) The red and the bright green is very Christmassy.

Great you are doing this....Oct-Jan is prime season for these. You inspired me to fire up my juicer -
beets/kale/apple/ginger/carrot/lemon then more beets/kale for good measure

Cool Ytube, For those of us who are surviving pc, cancer free or still in the battle, the right food choices are important, this super food being a good one. Many have reversed a lot of major diseases by living on a whole food-plant based diet. Regards Inkhorn

This is mine and my 2 sons favorite fruit. We wait every year till the end of October till the first ones show up at the store and then start each eating about
one a day till we can't find them anymore The way we eat them. Cut off the stem end, make the slits all around and then
open in a dry bowl. We then take the bowl and sit down and pull each piece out. It takes quite a while to eat it this way but that way we enjoy every bit

Excellent video. I do it the same way except I don't use the water or a bowel. When I pull it apart, seeds go everywhere. I even find seeds in other rooms when I am done. The bowel and water will certainly help. Definitely one of my favorite and most versatile fruits!
