It sounds like you're doing great. I was in a similar place at that time, only using one pad a day. Seven months later and I'm still using one pad a day. Most days I don't need it, but there are some where I do. It all depends how active I am. I'm thinking of not wearing them anymore and just packing one along in a coat pocket for those some days.
I can tell you I definitely need to wear one when I go for jog, but every time it seems I can go a little farther before I notice a dribble. It will continue to get better for you, but you probably won't notice it day to day. It may be a few weeks past and you'll go, "Hey, that's a little better". That said, having a little too much to drink is a whole other story. All I can say is I now know why they call it "getting pissed".
