Seed Men - pain during orgasm

Been about 9 months since my implant and I've noticed a rather disconcerting SE: pain during orgasm. It seems as if I really "let go" (this has happened maybe 2-3 times and I've held back getting into it with abandon because of it) and have a strong orgasm I feel it and it feels rather odd - to say the least.

Is this common among you? Does it go away?

Hi Buddy - what your talking about isn't something I experienced either. I would make a couple of calls as Tud has suggested to get their weigh-ins.

Buddy Blank, as was reported in the article abstract (link) you provided, brachytherapy/radiation therapy side effects tend to be both late-term (as opposed to short-term or immediate-term), and under-reported. We had interesting discussion HERE in a thread before you joined HW about under-reporting of RT effects and why that may be...perhaps of interest. The men who experienced increased pain during ejaculation were not discussed then.

Casey this would be a "very early-late term effect" seeing as it was present almost immediately. ;)

Umm, Wow, that's quite a statement there Casey, and certainly not why I chose Brachy. . . . . I chose LDR BT because after a huge personal investment of time and research I found it to be the right choice for me because of better results and less SE's. . . . . not 'convenience.'

Casey59 I understand that the term may be used, at times, by others - my point was that you used it to qualify an angle on BT that I simply don't agree with. Same goes with comments on shortening of the penis as an after effect of BT - simply not there, particularly when compared with RRP due to the actual physics involved with each respective procedure.

Not here to push a treatment approach, but also as everyone knows by now I don't sit on the sidelines if I see something that needs to perhaps be qualified. One of my many faults I suppose!!!!

Well, yeah brachy is both convenient and has great results too. :D

Penis size shrinkage? I've not heard that in regard to brachy before.

My ejaculate percentage, off the Rapaflo, is less but maybe by 50% only.

I didn't have seeds, but have experienced what you described, even now, 5 plus years from open surgery. Sometimes, an orgasm produces a lot of what we refer to as a "hurts good" feeling. Might happen to me 1 out of 4 times. Reminds me of my younger days, when I still had a prostate, and after having several sexual sessions close to gather, and you were basically running on "empty" in the ejaculate department, an orgasm would "hurt good".

I mentioned it to my uro way back in the process, and he said it wasn't that uncommon, and that nothing bad was taking place. He never mentioned if it would ever go away. So far it hasn't. In my particular case, if I am having sex while experiencing severe fatigue (not something I would usually plan to do), that type of pain seems to be more common than not.

Since I didn't have seeds, can't say if that is normal or not. But do understand where you are coming from.

Well, in a little over a month's time I can report that this sx has gotten a lot better. I've had strong orgasms without pain at all since. Makes me wonder how much was in my head? I must admit having seeds planted inside played with my head a bit.

Also, I'd like to happily say I've had no shortening of penis length.
