PSA Anxiety returns like clockwork.. Results Just In.. UNDETECTABLE

Ricky, hoping and expecting another zero for you, don't let that psa anxiety rob you of your peace of mind. it's just not worth that. you have a good record going there.

Lots of us know just how that anxiety feels, Ricky. I know I do.

Hang in there man, and try not to let the beast make you crazy. It's one of the ways he wins. Fill your time and your head with better things and try to shove all the crap aside. I know it's easier said than done, but it's the best advice I've got. This is a good time to treat yourself to the things you really enjoy in life, whatever they may be.

Also, keep in mind that your chances of another zero are pretty good if you've made it this far. Over time, the odds get to be more and more in your favor.

I have a blood draw today. After last week's cruise, my anxiety level about most things is prety low! At this point I have more anxiety about my weight and blood pressure than PSA.

I hear you. I'm exactly the same way.

I, on my own advice went to 1 year after 3 or so years of testing. There is thought and slight anxiety leading up to test.The anxiety increases up to the test . the anxiety reaches its peak as I wait for the nurse to get the results on the phone. I will be getting one in Feb, which will be 13 mos from last. on one hand the longer you're out it gets easier, but the longer your out makes the payoff greater if zero or a bigger letdown if not. I have been considering waiting for another year for the big 5 year payoff or letdown. I do not ever plan R/T at my age and will wait for mets before I HT, unless the psa is way, way high and then again I may be way older then so who knows. The root of it all is psa anxiety. MY window is open wide, I don't see it closing for awhile, its certainly a dilemma and tests one's faith. I really have very little doubt that I will win the race to death from PCA,but just want it to be a peripheral,{bad choice of word, there } part of my life. I can make it that even with a BCR, but like in surfing, a man's got to know his limits, even when pushing same. I'll let you know if i stretch it out to 5 and take a sensitive test then to see where Im at. I may flip a coin or read the entrails of a shark, good luck RickyD.

Thanks for the reminder!  Mine is coming up sometime soon...I can't really remember when; I gotta look it up but it's sometime around the end of the year/beginning of next.  Mine was an low-side intermediate risk case (3+4) treated with surgery therefore extremely likely I'll never deal with PC again, so anxiety is low.

Expect a good result, as you do, and get it. It certainly seems as if the odds are on your side to continue in the zero club. Now that's the club that I want to join!!! Good luck!

For me I wasn't as worried at my last test but then I was dealing with a bunch of other problems - hemorrhoids, a bad tooth and a management change at work. Was so distracted by stuff that I'd forgotten I'd had a blood draw and was surprised when I got the nurse's email with the result.

I'm a betting on another zero.

that's great. I'm starting to get a few twinges of anxiety as I approach at the 60% mark. little more than 60 days to my next PSA test.

thats fantastic.RickyD Magaboo, you got real nice run there , specially with T3a. Im jumping on the train.. Plan to get an ultra sensitive for my 1st year in febuary[13mos], see where I am at, then, if a go go to 2 years, if a go, go to 3, lidat. You know mix it up for a little spice….. Base jumping next??? or maybe a go go cage, ouch the visual….
