First Post Op PSA Test Results

Greetings all,

Well I had my RALP on 11-12-13, and had my blood drawn on 30 DEC 13, (yeah last year), I meet with the surgeon again this WED, for my test results, but as luck would have it and with the technology I wake this am to find and email that I have new information in my on line medical records.

So here three days before I meet with my doc I wake up this am to read the following!

0.064

I hope that it will stay here or get lower. I know don't worry, it will be fine. I went back to work two weeks ago, and off on a major business trip next week, when I will see all my co-workers, and industry friends for the first time since surgery.

Thanks in advance for all the comments, and support, the group on here is simply amazing, and I hope that in time I can give back a small portion to others like those of you that have helped and shared with me since I found this forum. All the best, Happy New Year!!!

Edited the first edition of my test results was on my iPad and the page was blurry thought it was .044 but when I looked at it on the computer it's actually a .064 but still good news ,

I'd be clicking it, Paul! I was just thinking this place is like FB for PC guys and wives, too.

Your result mirrors mine... my first was 0.06 as well. Keep in mind there may be some benign prostate tissue still in the capsule and your PSA may always hover right around that number. I was concerned when I didn't get all zeroes. I googled like mad much to my detriment and then to my benefit.

Yes I did the same thing at first I thought oh know! then I went a did a search like you and then came on here and looked and so oh ok! I am good, :-), great fellng!!!

Well had an appointment to visit my Euro today but thanks to our great weather here in NNY for the last day including today getting sever lake effect snow of the eastern end of Lake Ontario prevented us making it to see him and had to cancel the appointment. Visibility was less than a few hundred meters at best at times and the snow band stretched about 30 moles wide. We have been fortunate at our house that only began accumulating snow starting about noon today. Areas south of us have had this for the past three days and some places have over five feet of new snow. We where getting between 2-4" and hour. Called in canceled my appointment and asked for a consul phone call with doc, still waiting on that and this late doesn't appear it will happen. Going to see a PT to help with inncontence so the saga continues, just still happy as heck to be a member of the zero club, thanks again everyone!
