Although not a Saints fan, I proudly wore my Saints t-shirt purchased in that fair city prior to the cruise GFMPH cruise. I am very sorry for your loss. I request your support for the Denver Broncos, whose quarterback has strong Louisiana roots. We cannot condone any advancement of the hated Seahawks or Patriots. 3 cheers for the good guys!

I had on my #9 jersey. Same one that I had on during the Cruise.
Sad to see our Saints go down but they were out played.

Grin, you are barking up wrong tree. The Saints were useless today, for all the talk.

Been a faithful Pat's fan for 44 years this year. What a win tonight, they have been on fire since the game started. Brady is the man, best QB of all time.

Would love to see SD take down Broncos, after all the free press the sports media has given Manning all season. The Pat's beat both of them so we are not worried.

Heading for the Superbowl, this time to win.

Dave, I somehow remembered you being a Cam Newton fan also. He's doing well as I write this.

Being a West Coast guy, I root for SF and Seattle. But Ron Rivera is a California guy, so I support him as well. And since I lived in Boston for a while, I'm also a Patriots fan. Enjoying the playoffs a lot so far!

Chris you need to back off. Many of us know each other and enjoy one of the national past times.

Yep if you wish you can start a thread that so me might not have an interest in. Best way to deal with that is DON'T open OR READ THEM.

Many OT (off topic) subjects are posted at HW PC, first time I remember anyone getting upset over it. I.E., Ed's/F8 photo series, comes to mind.

Football is GFMPH to many a man here. I know it was/is for me, with all I have gone through the past 5 years. Waiting for/Watching NFL games were often the only thing I had to look forward to while recovering from endless medical ills.

As suggested above, remember the "big tent" approach at HW? It doesn't take away from the scope of HW PC to have these mental diversions away from the bleakness of PC and the technical nature.

These OT threads provide those distractions from time to time. And if you (me or anyone else) isn't interested in a particular topic, then simply don't read it, ignore it, and not post to such a thread. Live and let live on this one and similar ones.

You working in your basement might well be worthy of a OT Thread. We have threads about all kinds of hobbies, crafts, and interests from our members. We are all more than the sum of our cancer cells, how to treat them. We have to live real lives beyond cancer, and these types of threads show each other, we are not just PC patients.

As a proud Green Bay Packer shareholder I find all this talk about the Seattle Seahags, San Fran Forty-Whiners, Denver Donk-o-Roos, and New England Potheads depressing My interest in football ended Jan. 5th on the frozen tundra of Lambeau.
