Had six month PSA at Memorial Sloan-Kettering in New York City last week. Still "undetectable." This is the fourth consecutive "undetectable" result since I finished treatment in the spring of 2012. Treatment then was SRT + pelivic lymph radiation + HT (Lupron + Casodex). Feeling very grateful to the oncologists and radiation team at Sloan and to my wife for her unflagging support in late 2011 to go "all in" with treatment 150 miles from home. As surgery had failed within 18 months, doubling time was rapid in the summer of 2011, and I am a Gleason 8, we felt a comprehensive cancer center was the only shot. I will never use the words "cancer" and "cure" in the same sentence, but these results are the best I could have hoped for. We will see what the future brings. Wife and I off to the Grenadine Islands for five weeks of island hopping and diving late next month. Best wishes to all!

Also embarked on "Paleo Diet" in 2013. Only eat what I could have plausibly gathered, hunted or fished 40,000 years ago (not with current skill set). No processed foods of any kind. Feel great physically on this diet.
