Had my blood drawn yesterday. I get my results tomorrow.

Good news. PSA came back at .017. I celebrated with a chili wheat beer and a desert brown ale at the brand new microbrewery down the street. :-)

Good news from this end.

Kidney functions have improved greatly.

Unfortunately, glucose reading was high and calcium reading was high, but both only slightly above normal range.

I am very pleased with the results.

The last month, after the bad kidney function tests, I dropped metformin and fosamax. Probably one of them was causing an issue. Additionally, I've been eating slightly better (cutting down on salt) and that might have helped.

Next round of testing will be in about 4 weeks.

Last Friday, pee in cup. Today, talked to my nurse, everything is in the normal range....YES....

Just had my blood drawn today for my 2nd post-surgery PSA - results next week. Not sweating it - feeling optimistic (but know whatever will be will be) - and in the meantime, enjoying a nice end-of-the-week scotch!

My phone beeped at me this morning--the app had my PSA results. Less than 0.1, now 7 years out from salvage radiation and nearly 8 from my Da Vinci prostatectomy. My complete experience with SRT is on my blog, but in short, I'm doing very well and don't really have any side effects I can attribute to SRT.

I think I will make it a Guiness...

My PSA has taken a turn on me. It had been in a downward trajectory for 2 years but changed directions and doubled over the last 5 months. It is still a very low 0.06. So now I'm back to 3 month testing and looking for an oncologist. Fortunately I'm still in good health and should be able to handle ADT, chemo or anything else coming my way.

My PSA result yesterday (January 16) was UP to 0.544.

The first PSA test on November 1, 2013 after IGRT and
ADT evidently was my NADIR at 0.064. So I only had
less than 3 months in the ZERO CLUB. *sigh*

Back to the dreaded high anxiety! GROAN!

Hello all!

I had great news, my PSA was undetectable after more than seven years from surgery. During the past years, it has been floating around the 0.05 mark, sometimes detectable and sometimes not. The main thing is that it does not show signs on an upward trend. :-)

My husband's PSA result was <0.008 as at 17Jan2014. The next test will be in July. :-)

Just got my results confirmed from my test 1/15, 0.1. I loss the
< less than. I guess PSA anxiety will be with me until the next test 4/16 to see if it is starting to increase.

Thanks Clanda, it is just one test. Living with positive margins sucks.

I was listening to Dan Fogelberg songs tonight and it was depressing me more. Poor guy was one of us and loss his battle to PCa in 2007.
