It is 9:30 am on Sunday morning. I just told the boss I taking tomorrow off for accrued P.T.O. In 5 hours I will be home, showered, and sitting on the sofa beer in hand waiting for the Hawks game to start. Seeing them win a Super Bowl is on my bucket list. I read your blog and your bucket list. I live 4 1/2 miles from the ocean here in So. FL. so I can help you with the white sand beach and riding out a hurricane. We'll only get a couple of days notice on the hurricane
striking landfall so be prepared during hurricane season June-October.
You can help us board up the windows and crank up the generator.

Todd, thanks for posting again. Man, I look forward to your every post!

I've never made a bucket list. Sure, there are a few things that I'd like to do, but my life has been full of great experiences. My wife and I have talked many times about what we'd do to fulfill our lives. I have no answer, since I'm living my dream. I have a great wife, great kids, a long and enjoyable career, a house and friends that I like and am comfortable with. I'm confident in my ultimate destination, and really feel completely fulfilled. I wouldn't change anything. I'm living my dream life.

Challenges? Sure. I'd rather not have PCa. I'd rather my job wasn't transferring me to a northern state I never wanted to live in again, making me think about changing jobs (tough at my age). I suppose I'd like not to be concerned about those things, but the universe doesn't bend to my will. It's all good. One way or another it will be ok.

Everyone looks at a bucket list a bit different... None are wrong... I think I remember hearing about this professor that wrote a small book and gave a lecture about living and his bucket list...think it was called The Last Lecture...haven't read it yet, but its on my bucket list...

Well, the Pats just lost, so I don't have a dog in the fight for the Super Bowl.

Yep, my dog lost too....now I will be for ever plays the Broncos in the Super Bowl.

Was amazed my Pats made it to the Divisional Game, to be honest, I did accurately predict their 12-4 regular season, which most people laughed at me for doing so. With such a beat up team, and no good receivers left, still happy they made it this far. Always next year. Been a fan since 1970, so not giving up on my guys.

Hello Todd,

As Jerry said, everyone looks at bucket list a bit different!! Feeling a lot like Redwing57, I too, have lived a full life although, we'll still love to go to Scotland and take a cruise.

One thing I'd love to is, live long enough to see our four grandkids grown. Since being DX and starting my treatments, I'm doing well (with the exception of still being in a lot of hip/side pain). Jan. 30th, have an appointment with my new oncologist. Hopefully, she will help me with my pain.

Todd - great post again. Keep at the writing.

I never liked the term bucket list either but I don't have a better one - yet. ;)

I do my blog writing on a Sunday afternoon.

Well, after Richard Sherman's post game comments, I would venture a guess that unless you live in Washington state, the vast majority of the country will be cheering for the Broncos.

I actually got a kick out of Sherman's post game comments. I'm from Seattle but moved to Wisconsin in my formative years and beyond.

Will be pro Seattle and Richard Sherman for SuperBowl Sunday.

Seattle and Denver in the Bud Bowl lol Too funny!!! Sherman talks a lot but he can back up his mouth on the field! Humility might serve him well but maybe we need to turn the Michael Sherman in all of us loose on this friggin cancer.
