Brother in law - Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer

MsWW - Thanks for sharing that! That length of remission is absolutely amazing.

Very encouraging! Statistics are just numbers, aren't they? There are people even in the really small percentage possibilities, and who knows if one will be in that lucky few?

Wow.

Oh, and by the way I talked to Bob today, sort of as a fellow patient. He is in good spirits though emotionally fragile, and feeling pretty good right now, but I told him it's going to be a real emotional roller coaster for a while. I've heard second-hand that he was really happy we talked; he said I'm the only person that "gets it". Also, as I've mentioned, we've never been close, but I told him to call me any time he needs to talk. He'll have good days and bad days, and I'm here for him either way.

He hopes to go home Saturday.
