For those who don't know him, Mel is on hormone therapy, as am I. We have to take our fun where we find it.

Here's a bit of uncomfortable comfort for you guys: Most of you are doing fine and will continue to do fine but maybe one of you will have a long-term struggle with continence. The stats say one guy in ten, more or less, and there are quite a few recent RP guys on this thread. So I will talk to that one unlucky guy if he is here, saying:
1) even for the worst leakers it gets better with time -- just not better enough. You'll use fewer pads and the incontinence problem will be a smaller and smaller part of your anatomy life.
2) one kinda gets used to it. Guards easily fit in your back pocket like a wallet and no one at my work, nor any of my friends (present company excluded) have any idea that I leak. (If you come to GFMPH Sonny Florida 2014, and remind me, I can show you how to re-fold Depends so they are pocketable, too.)
3) Most urologists want you to wait at least a year to let things heal and continence return naturally, but if it doesn't there are surgical interventions that will dry up the vast majority of long-term leakers, so if you find that Kegels aren't doing it for you it's not the end of the world.
