Havanon, - Technically, you have a clinically "undetectable" PSA, LESS THAN 0.1 ng/ml (<0.1), which has long been the established clinical threshold for the use of the definition. If you want to be accurate, I would suggest that you tell them the specific reading or that it was less than 0.1 ng/ml, which is true and all that you would know if you would have had the Standard PSA assay. They may ask what is its significance and, factually, it is too early to tell.
Unless they are people who know you had the test and are anxiously waiting to hear the result, I probably wouldn't say anything until my status is more clearly defined by future tests (either stable or rising),the first 3 months from now, I ASSUME. Just my OPINION
But it is an individual decision, that has no right or wrong answer and you should handle it in the manner with which you feel most comfortable. -
