For any of you in cold country, it was 82 degrees and sunny here yesterday in So. Florida. I went to an outdoor concert in Miami last night and the weather was great.

Funny you should ask. I was out in my field plowing for the spring planting when my plow struck a golden tablet with the words "Google dot Com" written on it in an unknown language.

Actually, most them are songs I know and enjoy although I do use google to jog my memory. I also do online searches for the lyrics to the songs to see if there are concepts there that relate.

Someone suggested that we need songs about doctors and that naturally led to Weird Al Yankovich (I am a big fan).

I am currently thinking about The Andrews Sisters "Shortnin' Bread". It gas the line I called for the doctor and the doctor said: Feed them chillens on shortnin' bread!.

There's a useful pun there for us penile rehab guys -- "shortnin'" / "shortening" -- get it? ... Or is it too much of a stretch?

my new one that is both relevant and cheerful -- "Odds Are" (as in "odds are we will probably be alright") by Barenaked Ladies. about other types of worries -- climate change, nuclear catastrophe etc. -- I first heard it right after getting the third bad PSA in a row, and calculating an alarming doubling time, and it helped.

the one that ran through my mind A LOT in the early scary days right after diagnosis -- Let the Mystery Be by Iris De Ment. I am probably excessively future oriented rather than living in the moment (heck I'm even a forecaster for a living), and all my early research was really really depressing. So I decided it was time to let the mystery be.

I didn't know Raddad personally but I did read his post and saw pictures of him after he passed and this song is a very good tribute to him and his attitude after DX.

Some of your links didn't work either but I did like the addition of The Gambler by Kenny Rogers. I hadn't considered it before but there are parts of the song that do relate to our fight . I especially like the sentence, "the best that you could hope for is to die in your sleep".

I am about ready to make up the top 40 list of all submitted.
