Hi Bob, Yes, it is the 5mg per day dose. I am an rph and a preacher, and when he suggested it, I was hesitant, since I am "high strung" anyway. I told him my routine, he laughed and assured me it wouldn't make me a raving animal, and he was already prescribing it for ED/BPH, for ED alone, and for BPH alone.
The morning issues were annoying for me as my wife leaves for work just before I wake up. The first few weeks it took things about
10 minutes to "quiet back down" each morning. My wife just laughed at me....... except on Saturdays.
I see many folks today that are mismatched in their marriage in the area of sex. And it is just as often that the woman has the higher sexual appetite as the man. We are fortunate that we are equally yoked in that area.
I think it's a no-brainer for you to either switch to Cialis 5mg daily or add it to the flomax and get some synergy working between the 2 of them.
Good luck. Look forward to hearing your decision and results.

Rphguy,
Was that the 5mg. daily dose? From what I've read the 5mg dose works better for BPH than the 2.5mg dose, but they both have a similar effect for ED. I would welcome "morning issues" which have been rare for years. I've been married for 41 years and never had sex 5 times in a week! You're a lucky guy! I think I'm going to ask my uro for a prescription for the 5mg. daily cialis when I see him in a couple of weeks.
I get some nasal congestion in the early morning from tamsulosin and some general fatigue, but the flow is good. I don't have retro, but the ED is getting worse. If I can exchange it for the daily cialis it may be a win/win.

Bob, I was taking Flomax 0.4mg twice daily and was having much dizziness.
My Doc, for a short while bumped me to 3 per day and I was having Retro often.
I complained.
He changed me to one Flomax per day and 1 Cialis per day.
Flow is about the same, but no Retro.
I don't have ED, and our sex life is about 5 times per week for 30 years of marriage.
I notice I do wake up with morning "issues" since the regimen change that I've not often had for a while. lol.
