Update for Rob ..... on 3/11/14:
First, I would like to recommend a book. I just started reading it at my chemo appointment yesterday, and while it may have more info than most of us need, it does answer many questions about PCa and options for treatments. It is named:
"Promoting Wellness Beyond Hormone Therapy" - "Options for Prostate Cancer Patients"! It is written by Mark A. Moyad, MD, MPH
The second half of the book is heavily devoted to side effects and diet - while the first half deals with basic terminology, FDA-approved treatments and some info on trials. The text copyright is dated 2011 ... but jevtana is reviewed as an FDA-approved treatment in this book - so the info is very recent!
March 10th treatment and notes:
