I arranged with my urologist to meet in his office May 8, 2012 to get the results of my biopsy. That is when he told me "you have cancer".
Every year I celebrate my Sobriety Date, May 2nd. So I knew then that every May I would hopefully continue to celebrate sobriety but that would be followed 6 days later by the memory of DX Day.
So no, I don't celebrate DX Day. This May 2nd I will be
CELEBRATING 25 years of sobriety and try to forget May 8th.
