Off we go. Finishing packing the car, heading to Florida. Lunch tomorrow with James C. and his wife in VA, then all the way to Titusville. What a grand time we we will have, particularly as we celebrate with my friend Sonny on his fabulous PSA testing.

Can't wait to see all you guys and gals.

We leave Wednesday morning and will be at Sonny and Sher's Spa and Resort by Thursday early afternoon, please don't suck out all the fun before we get there nono Hard to believe its GFMPH week already and drive carefully my friend.

I hope everyone has a great time and I will be there in spirit, but home recuperating from hernia repair. Remember, no drinking, smoking or jokes of a sexual nature are allowed.

Yeah, the first GFMPH guest is on the way.

Terry, not to worry, there is enough fun stored up for this one for everyone to have a share.

Michael, I do hope that one day you will think about joining us at a GFMPH gathering. Lots of fun, great eats and so much laughter that you go home with really tight core muscles.

And all of the rest of you need to think about joining us too. The next GFMPH is scheduled for September, just outside Rochester, NY.

Checking in at Charleston, WV for a nap, then off to Wytheville in the AM.

Why can't I drive 90 mph ? Isn't this an emergency ?

Just back from a camping trip and starting to pack for our Wed departure. See you guys as soon as we get there. We are so excited about seeing everyone. The anticipation is really pushing us.

Hope all of you traveling have a safe trip and those of you that can't make it this time start thinking about Rochester NY in September.

Checked in at 11:30 PM Sonny and Sherry's house. A long day, and about a 1000 miles of driving.

Had a great lunch with Harold and Diana at Cracker Barrel. ( all right, we had breakfast at 11:00). Talked a whole bunch. What a great couple.

Talked a whole bunch with Sonny and Sherry. Finally to bed at 1:30. Going to be one heck of a week. Any body still trying to decide if they are coming or not, you will be sorry you did not.

Good night. See a lot of you guys later in the week.

Jeff (worriedguy), don't worry about the snow up here. When I'm done shoveling my driveway etc. I'll stop by and shovel yours so go have fun in sunny florida and tell Sonny and Sherri, Jess and I say HI !

WOW it is finally GFMPH week (no longer just a long weekend event) for many of us. We leave Wednesday morning and the anticipation is running down my legs can't wait to see everyone.

Yep, big week this week. My first GFMPH. I understand that the initiation is kind of rough. Take it easy on us newbies!!

All you other brothers and sisters will be here in spirit. We'll still be checking in on the forum from time to time over the weekend when we are not having any fun!! yeah

Big Mac, my first GFMPH was in Rochester which consist of a 6 hour drive and when we got to Jeff's house I started to panic and get anxious about meeting all these people for the first time. I actually wanted to turn around and go home but my wife said we've gone this far might as well go for it...long story short we've been to three (two in Rochester and one Baton Rough ) , unfortunately we can't make this one but will get to Rochester in September.

You're going to love it ,"WARNING : GFMPH is addicting"

Thanks for the encouragement. My wife is a little concerned but I am sure everything will go well. I would love to go to Rochester or Baton Rouge in the future but Sonny's house is just 2 1/2 hours north of me right up I-95 so I can't pass up on this opportunity to meet everyone and match the faces to the names.

The fun has begun.

Dick and I just got back from a grocery run to pick up corned beef, cabbage and potatoes for dinner.

Just a few minor chores today and then relaxing.

Ms WW, I will be picking up the RV today and setting it up here at the house for your arrival tomorrow. The Taj Ma Wolfey will be ready and waiting.

Bill, until we attended our first GFMPH in Rochester last Fall, that was my biggest concern too. I knew the culture from HW and felt I would survive the initiation but was concerned that Karen may be left in a corner by her lonesome if I did not hang out with her.

Pleased to report there are no cliques and everyone is immediately made to feel most welcome with lifelong friends.

One of my expectations ws that besides the men having their business meeting to discuss pros and cons of PCa, the partners would meet to exchange joys and sorrows of being a caregiver, but that is not part of the agenda. Not sure whether Karen would have enjoyed a session like that or not, but can still meet one on one with those caregivers bond with.

I don't want to mislead anyone. This is not a pity party, just hte opposite, and not a whole lot of discussion of PCa except at the business meeting around a campfire for an hour or two on Saturday.

Was a little worried about weather as it is pouring rain on west side of FL all last night and all day today, but quick check of weather.com showed great weather with temps in high 70's and 10% chance of rain Wed & Thursday while most folks are traveling and 0% chance of rain Friday. Did not check the 10 day forecast for Saturday yet.

Looking forward to following the Clearwater Cowboy's lead when we get there sometime Wednesday and to seeing all of the attendees, pllus teaching the newbies (now that I am a veteran of a grand total of 1 prior GFMPH) the GFMPH secret handshake.
