This is a direct result of the HT, specifically Lupron and its likes. It messes up the entire endocrine glands, not just the gonads. It warns about the effects on the heart, diabetes, osteoporosis, muscle loss, libido loss, etc.

Before the Lupron I walked an hour a day with little fatigue. Now I have cut it down to 45 minutes and end up very tired. And the spring in my legs has diminished a lot. It isn't to the point where an old man of 90 just shuffles his feet along, but it has hastened me towards it.

All the muscles in the body are made more weak. The heart is a muscle and it too becomes weaker. If the heart isn't in good shape at the onset you thus end up with a possible heart attack.

So the Lupron does prevent the testosterone from feeding the PCa, but its side effects can cause death. I think this is more common the older you are.
