Hope everyone has a safe journey, and has the time of their lives at Sonny's GFMPH meet in Florida.

Would loved to have been there.

We are packing up and getting ready for the flight. We are so ready!!!

Can someone remind me what to do with a bathing suit? I'm not sure what it's for.

Looks like Titusville Florida is a keeper.

Had a great PorK Tenderloin w Apple Chutney at Cracker Barrell, and the internet at Firfield Marriott obviously works since I am making a post.

We have the only handicapped room so you guys without a prostate with have to fend for yurselves.

about to call the Wolfeman and his bride to alert them we are within striking distance.

Weather is great but that kind of goes without saying in Florida.

Off the baords til we get back to hotel, probably after midnight, so more likely sometime after we wake up and enjoy the free breakfast here with the other GFMPH attendees, at tis point maybe only Clearwater Cowboy as most early attendees are staying at the Wolfe Bed & Bath (So more breakfast crowds on Friday thru Sunday).

BS is flying. Keeping my feet up n a stool to protect my shoes.

Wishing you a wonderful time at Sonny's. Goodlife mentioned that the BS is already getting high. I did laugh since I just read an article from the LA Times that "1 in 5 Americans has admitted to peeing in a public swimming pool according to a new survey". That's all folks-lol.

So much for what haopens at GFMPH stays at GFMPH. We're all blaming it on the Lupron, whatever "it" happens to be , in this case BS.

Clearwater Cowwboy and Cajun Jeff arrived a while ago so handing the baton to them for late shift and back at hotel.

Just helped Andy, Sonny's stepson bring the food in. Oh my goodness. Just the smells are divine.

We are going to eat like kings and queens. If you are coming, better hurry. This food is going to be something else.

What a great start to GFMPH! Wonderful food, good drink, and better friends. This has been a real first class start. Thank you Mr and Mrs Wolfe. They are great host. We got to meet a few new guys that have never been to a gathering. 3 more days for us to enjoy.

So glad that the Florida GFMPH has gotten off to a great start. Patsy and I continue to struggle through our Australian GFMPH. Although a bit less members have shown up. Mainly me, we have enjoyed this great and beautiful country.
I'm sure all in attendance at the GFMPH Florida the very best.

We'll, my first GFMPH event. Got here today, you guys and gals are really missing it.
Great new friendships, food, weather and especially the host, Sonny and Sherry.
This is finally a positive side of having PCa. Where else you could meet perfect strangers and have THESE conversations face to face.

As they say What happens at GFMPH, stays at GFMPH so you are just going to have to attend yourself to see what it is about for yourself.

Back at it again tomorrow.

Don - you and moonlitnight need to start saving the last week in September for the next GFMPH always held in Rochester NY area that week, which is more convenient for our fellow HW members north of the border.

Rochester is where we attended our first in 2013 and now at our second in Florida. Planning on Rochester again in 2014.

Even more great folks who could not make 2013 Rochester were here in FL some as repeat offenders and others as first time attendees. Great time being held by all.

During the men's business meeting this afternoon, the caregivers present had a meeting of their own which my spouse really enjoyed.

Heard a lot more good things about value of telephone consults with Dr Lam and may set up one of my own since we are in California 2 months each summer.

We are in the final miles of returning home from GFMPH.

Just had to close out this thread with one more "You guys have no idea what you missed ." Along with great food, fun and fellowship, I had a chance to spend quality time with some of my closest friends on this earth. Guys who understand what I am going through, what I most likely will go through, and will be there with all the way. Not one Oh poor me , was uttered. Tons of laughter, hugs, handshakes, and understanding looks.

Please, start reserving last weekend in September to show up in Rochester, New York. It will be an experience you will never forget.

Wow, what a weekend. Thank you Sonny and Sherry for all the work, time, and money you expended on our behalf, See all my friends in September.

When I left Sonny and Sherry's house I had a tear flowing. It was a very wonderful gathering. The food was awesome. The people more awesome. I want to proclaim that Clearwater Cowboy and his bride are my heroes. They know why.

It's a story that will keep you in stitches.

Love and peace to all you folks who pull these things off. The GFMPH gathering is well worth attending. If your heart needs warming, this is great therapy!

Add in touring the Kennedy Space Center since Sonny lives three feet from it, this was one of my all-time favorite trips for PCa!

What more can we say about this past weekends GFMPH gathering other than it was the most fantastic one since the last fantastic one. Sonny and Sherry set a new bar for the ultimate in hosting this event and it was so great seeing and meeting the newbies, yes even Tony C. for the first time. Hard to think of Tony as a newbie as he has been such a huge contributor to HW and the PC community for so long. Thanks to all of you for making this such a huge success.

Some past attendees were sorely missed like Cmetalman and his lovely wife, but they were in our thoughts with the fabulous Philly Style care package they sent for all of us to enjoy. The Tasty Cakes were so delicious and devoured in minutes.

One thing I am really missing is the warm Florida weather. today we will only be in the 40's here in Birmingham and tonight we are expecting a very cold for us this time of year low in the 20's.

I am looking forward to the next gathering in late September in NY.

Amen to everything said so far.

At our first GFMPH in Rochester you get to know people, they are all so nice and welcoming but at the second here in Florida, you get to know them even better.

When I called Sonny at noon yesterday to let him know we had made it home safely, albeit only a 2 hour drive, he siad he had just talked to Cajun Jeff who commented on how quiet his home was after such a boisterous time at GFMPH. My sentiments exactly even with 2 yapping dogs to welcome us home.

So we dispatched 142 to stop by at Jeff's tonight to continue his instruction on the finer points of drinking scotch and smoking cigars.

Each business meeting you get to hear compelling stories from each guy, the ones you heard last time sink in more and I heard new ones from Tony Cristino, Ray the Steel Guy, barfinkl1, BigMac, JNF, Rob2, Southern Comfort and even Terry the WaterGuy who has been to many but could not make it to Rochester last time.

A word of warning though. Don't expect to maintain your fighting weight the week of GFMPH - Sherry's son is a gourmet chef who kept feeding us great meals even at lunch for several days straight, just like Worried Guy's buddy did in Rochester

Hoping to see all these guys and their partners again and more of you who can reserve the last week of September in Rochester. You not only won't regret it, you'll strive to make every one going forward.
Ditto for your partner.

Jim, yep I an on the lookout for 142 he should be here in less than an hour. I talked to Nola Vette just a bet ago. I will be shipping your that disk that he promised. Don't be surprised when Mama Pat and I show up at your door.

I am still so jazzed up about the gathering and thinking about all our friends and how we got to enjoy visiting. Thanks for being there.
