Volume is important, but results can be different then you would think. My pathology report came back and said my volume of cancer was 65%, yet it had not spread outside of the Prostrate. My Urologist is part of a studt to see why there are patients like me with a high volume, yet it is slow growing and not aggressive, yet another man will have a small amount by volume yet is is aggressive and spreads quickly. I was very lucky, they had followed my very slow rising PSA for ten years, yet never felt anything with the DRE, only the biopsy found the cancer. Six plus years and I'm still blessed with being undetectable.
