OK, I got lazy and forgot to start a thread about March tests.

Anyway, if you are having tests in April,  this is the thread for you!!!

I have a PSA and a whole bunch of other tests, two weeks from Friday.

Other tests include T, liver, kidney, etc. It will be interesting because I stopped Fosamax and Metformin a few months ago when kidney function started to suddenly fail. Since then, kidney tests have been fine and we resumed fosamax a month ago. If kidney and other tests remain ok, I will resume metformin and we will see how that goes. Of course, the PSA is the big one.

Meanwhile, back issues are on the front burner.

Mel, John had blood drawn for his PSA today and sees the uro for his annual check-up on Monday, the 31st. Here's hoping and praying that his test and yours come back just fine.

Just got my results from latest PSA test, back to undetectable <0.1!

I had 2 tests, one in January and one in early March and it went to 0.1. I was dealing with a bad sinus infection doing that time but now it has gone back to undetectable. Wonder if there was any correlation between the slight rise and the infection? I took a round of antibiotics to knock out the infection and now back to undetectable.

Any thoughts from the experts?

I have a PSA test coming up the morning of Monday the 7th.
Usually, I get the results at the doctor visit that afternoon.

Here's to hoping of low numbers.

I have my first post-op PSA on the 14th.

I show up an hour before my appointment and I'll have the result at the appointment.

Nervous already.

I get my post-op pathology report next week.... A test of nerves at least, I guess.

Thanks Don, I though I had some recurrence starting in January, relieved it went back to undetectable.

At exactly two years out now. Yesterday's test was < .015. Can now switch to semi-annual vs qtrly uro visits. Will still get my own ultrasensitive psa test more frequently (my form of active patient involvement).

On TRT 45 days now. Brain fog has lifted about 80%. Starting to remember what it felt like to be normal.

Countin' blessings. Thanks to all of you. This board has been a great resource to get me through.

May or may not be getting an "April" PSA test, will let my doctor decide. He may go for it, or may choose to wait still another 3 months. Really doesn't matter to me at this point.

Expect to have a CT scan and Bone Scan in April followed up with "Treatment Options" meeting with the Doc

I do a bunch of tests on Friday. Results Tuesday.

Starting to get a bit nervous -- but less so than usual. (but...give me time!)

PSA was undetectable today, started Zytiga in November. January PSA also undetectable. All blood work good. The Old Sailor

Friday the 11th I see my Onco for my 2 month follow up on the Lupron/TAK700 trial. They will be pulling PSA along with a battery of other blood work tests.

My 1 month showed my PSA had dropped from 92 to 20 so I am looking for more good downward numbers.

I don't post much but read posts every day. My 90 day post op PSA due on 4/17. Fingers crossed. Happy to see good reports here. I hope to post a positive result. I can't tell you how much I appreciate this forum.

Just got home from a long day in Charleston, SC.
It was a great visit today, my PSA 381 days out from surgery is 0.03!
The beer is in the cooler and on the house!! :D yeah

I just had my 4 1/2 year PSA test done. .02 I'll take it! One more test like that in six months and then I'll go on to an annual test. Best of luck to all of you.

My husband had his first post-op PSA test, on 1 April 2014, just 6 weeks after the surgery and it was 0.044.

I think we are happy but see the uro 8 April to go over the pathology report in detail.

Lotsahope,

To post your personal info, what we call a signature do the following:

1) go to the top left where it says My Profile and select

2) then select edit my profile

3) then go down to the bottom where it says "Signature"
Fill out the signature portion with your info. Look at others signatures to get an idea what we posted.

4) then hit submit and you are done.

Then every time you make a post, before submitting it click the box 2 below your text where it says Options : Include my signature and your signature you created will appear at the bottom of your post like ours.

The first time you try it, it may not show up but it will, give it time.

Now go tell us about yourself, you can update it anytime like giving your newest PSA number by doing the same steps.

Had my blood drawn last week for my semi-annual PSA test (2 1/2 years since surgery). Just heard from my uro that it's still <0.1 (undetectable). Woo hoo, still in the Zero Club! Drinks are on me!

Had my second post op PSA done in March and just got my results back at almost 5 months post op my PSA is .074, my first one was .064 so it's about the same which is great. Still having issues with Incontenence and ED but hoping time will fix that?
