Getting way ahead of yourself.
First see what your Gleason score is. Then have the slides re-interpretted byanother firm such as Bostwick.
Second, if Gleason 6, seriously consider pro Active Surveillance, dependng on number of cores found slightly cancerous, etc.
If Gleason >6, consider all the remedies before jumping to the first solution presented to you.
If have have PCa, then get a second opinion urologist/surgeon, a radiation oncologist and if advanced enough, a medical oncologist to help you decide right course of action for you. There is no one size fits all right course of action for evryone, have to do what's you consider best, after you eduicate yourself on all your choices.
The very first thread on the first page will be very helpful
