I'm looking at this trial: http://prostatecancerinfolink.net/2012/07/17/does-abiraterone-acetate-resistance-induce-cross-resistance-to-docetaxel-based-chemotherapy/
When they speak of PFS at 4.6 months, does it mean 4.6 months after finishing chemo, or from the day you start chemo? Because most men are still on treatment when 4.6 months have passed.

"Median time to PSA progression was the time from
start
of docetaxel therapy until PSA progression as defined by PCWG 2 criteria. "

Smurf,
You already received your answer. I just needed to share something else with you.
I read this question first thing in the morning, while sitting in front of my pc at the kitchen table.
I don't know if it was my circadian hormonal cycle or if I had had too much soy milk in my coffee, but when I read your Q and thought about
it for a minute, it hit me hard. I teared up and could not talk.
Basically, you were asking something like "Is it 4 months, 8 months, or 12 months?"
Your question brought home a reality I've been lucky enough to ignore. Thank you for waking me.
I don't know if you are male, female, married, single - and I don't care! I need to give you a hug!
(((Hugs)))
Jeff

Thanks :) I was just wondering, but I'm not that worried, because my dad has been lucky all the way. He has responded well to all therapies. If he had followed the prognosis he should have been dead many years ago. And there are many more available medications available now than several years ago :)
