Just had followup visit with Urologist. Cath removed which is a great feeling. Great PATHOLOGY REPORT!! Prostate size= 86 grams.Not as big as other here but big enough. size = 6.5 x 4.5 x 5 cm.
Gleason Grade 3 + 3 = 6

Tumor Quantitation = Prostat involved by 5%

Histologic Type - Adocarcinoma, Acinar . (NOS)
Extraprostatic Extension - Not Identified
Seminal Vesicle invasion- Not identified
Surgical Margins- uninvolved by invasive carcinoma
Lymph- Vascular invasion - not present
Perineural invasion - present

Pathology Staging- pT2a
regional lymph nodes- pNO

Pre Prostatic Lesion/Lymph Node- Lymph Node with no metastatic carcinoma identified
Prostate Base- Negative for Cancer.

Great path report, congratulations!!

Your prostate was a big boy, did you give it a name after the doctor delivered it? Not as big as some but still pretty big.

Now good luck with your first PSA, it looks like you will be joining the Zero Club in a couple of months.

It was bigger than biopsy said. I defiantly was the news I was looking for. I would have thrown it out as a first pitch at the Blue Wahoo's game if they let me have it. Get one of these AA hitters give it a proper good by.

For now I will work on leakage to get some control and take the Cilias as directed to get back in the swing of things. i will be patient . goal # 1 was to be clear of PC.

Good news for you!! hope to see you in the zero club in 6 weeks!!

I'm 5 months post surgery and things are going well.

Leakage will subside quicker than you think, I only wore the thin pads for about five weeks, and never really needed them, but wanted to just in case.

ed issues will take longer, but I am seeing great progress here too!!

Thats great news. Now dont go overboard, let the body heal. What's inside you went through hell and although you may feel like doing more than the doctor says you should do, DON'T! The key to a great surgery is a great recovery and that starts with you and your patience. taking it easy for a while is the best medicine.

I wish I would've taken my own advice. Now I understand why daddy always said I was hard headed!
