Finally reached PSA = 0.10 w/o benefit of rounding, now on to that pesky less than sign

No "<" less than sign so in theory it may still be able to go even lower in August.

T not available yet but last time <003 so best I can do is break even.

My PSA was never very high, maxed at 3.68 but has steadily declined with Lupron and not yet at nadir

Had a very enjoyable mini GFMPH lunch in Gainesville today with 81GyGuy. GY may stand for Radiation Grays but could just as well stand for Great Guy as Steve lives up to that. a pleasure indeed.

If I had had this result at that time, I would never have let him play the my home town card and not have let him pick up lunch. He did agree to let me buy next time as I get there monthly for Xgeva shots

Looking forward to buying my first round with Cajun Jeff, momma Pat and the BTR, New Orleans connection a tend of this month. I talked to Sonny the other day to see if he and Sherry could join Steve and I and Karen for lunch but schedules did not work out.

He mentioned Jeff's count is in double digits for weekend after Memorail Day when we are at their place.

I have to admit I had more trepidation waiting for this PSA result as I have been having a lot of back pain a first for me. I still plan to see my radiaiiton onco Thursday afternoon to get a new set of bone scans, Spinal MRI which will also serve as a fresh set when I see Turner/Scholtz/Lam on June 5 after Karen and I and the two yappy dogs invade Cajun Jeff at end of month.

Speaking of which gotta scoot to pick them up from Groomer.

Steve mentioned another thread on how long Lupron lasts and I will post over there after I get off cloud 9.

Back is actualy better today and actually gives me a get out of jail free card on yardwork. Overdid the power wash and hedge trimmer and clean the gutter duties when uro said I need to do more weight bearing exercise. Though it would have passed in two weeks but slow recovery.\\

Yes, Jerry.

Kind of like your meeting with Dave grandpa of 4. the instant bonding just like what happens at the gala GFMPH Last weeek of Sept in Rochester area and Spring at alternating sites inl Louisiana and Florida.

Sonny and Sherry' s is only a couple hour drive for Steve, but as a retired widower, he seems to have some flexibility including good health to travel wherever, and has a couple of adult sons who can tend to his place for a week

Steve is really looking forward to attending when he can, and would be a great addiiton.

I'll try to remember to log onto the CHAT Wed night and encouraged 81GYGuy to do likewise. May have actually solved an issue he sometimes has loggin into the chat. In my case my username does not seem to get through but when I log in with my email id, that works fine.

Hope all is well with your business relocation to Michigan

Not sure of all the tie breakers but this year Sept 2014 calendar is pretty simple.

I am sure Worried Guy will chime in with more specifics, as dates get closer

Everybody tries to be there for at least Friday Sept 26 2014 and Saturday Sept 27 2014 business meeting but many come much earlier and depart much later with Sonny having turned that into an art form to help with set up and disassembly.

Guys with big rigs since they have to pay to gas to get there anyway can leverage the setup Mr/Mrs Worried Guy have done with trailer hookups

If I recall you are in PA, so should not be too much of a hike for you versus lot of guys and partners that traverse from Idaho, Louisiana, Florida, Canada etc.

Hope you can make it and this should be enough for planning purposes.
We may rack up about 21 different states but grqndkids are only in 2 of themed keep back vertical so drive to
I typically use Hilton or Marriott points but since Worried Guy negotiates a very favorably room NY State tax exempt rate, we will probably camp out at whatever Comfort room he comes up with htis year

Big relief since I had bad back pain the last 2 weeks pretty much solid and could have been a lot worse news. Drive to Gainesville seems to have helped to keep back veritcal as opposed to too much keyboard, so drive to Cajun Jeff's then Dr Turner/Schold/Lam, then month in San Jose, 4th of July in Chi-town including our second annual stop with Wampuscats (who knows Tony maybe Vegas but as I recall you had a conflict) should be very therapeutic

Since we did not have the result when I met with the medical onco, I asked him what he would do if PSA starts to rise. His preference is Casodex not Provenge as first step but thankfully a moot point for time being. Will see what Doctors Turner/Lam/Scholz say on June 5th.

Every nice thing you just said about me is right back at you and Karen, my friend!

Yes, Jim his wife Karen and I had lunch today after Jim had finished up his medical business at Shands Hospital here in Gainesville.

Jim and Karen are just lovely people, and talking and laughing with them during lunch was a real delight! Yes, a "mini-GFHPH" is what it was, and if today was any indication of what the full scale GFMPH's are like, then they are awesome get-togethers indeed!

The take-away of this for all of us should be that if any of you ever do get the chance to meet up with another forum member who happens to be nearby, or happens to be in your neck of the woods at some time or other, then by all means do so! Jim, Karen and I did this today and a fine time was had by all!

As has been noted here in posts before, when we do meet up with others from our HW PC forum here, it really is like meeting up again with old friends, and catching up in so many areas that we all have in common!

Jim, as I said as we left the restaurant today, any time you and Karen are passing through Gainesville, by all means give me a call, and you've got a lunch partner for the day!

Oh, and by the way, it's fantastic to hear about the test great result! Congratulations! I am truly happy for you! Here's to many, many more of such! And, yes, next time we have lunch to celebrate your next great result, you can pick up the tab! <grin>

You may not be in the "undetectable" category yet but still pretty da*n good for a guy walking around with a prostate. My PSA went from 18 months of <0.1 to 0.1 early this year and I felt like it had jumped to 10. I asked the doctor's office if it was less than 1 or just 1 and they said less than. It wasn't until I went to his office and asked for a copy of the blood work that I found it was 0.1. A second blood test 4 weeks later confirmed it was 0.1. Then my next test went back to <0.1. The nurses and office staff don't understand that there is a big difference to US but maybe not to them.

Brother Mel (compiler) is going to be a few miles away from me this week and we are going to try to hook up for coffee or something. Always GFMPH to meet up with a brother face to face when the opportunity presents itself.

I guess Mel had enough of that cold weather this year and needs a taste of that warm Florida sunshine. We may have some "liquid sunshine" (rain) here Thursday and Friday.
