Hi there,
In May last year my dad had a raised PSA, upon further checks his PSA raised from under 10 to 80 in 2 weeks. He underwent tests and we were told his cancer unfortunately had metastasis to his bone. However all other scans come back positive. No cancer had moved to organs, just to his bones. He started hormone therapy immediately and we saw a drop in his PSA. However late last year his PSA begun to rise. First to 180 range, then 240 and then into the 600's. He has now started a round of chemotherapy. 10 sessions, 3 weeks apart. After his first chemo session his PSA was around the same, although the doctor alerted us it could rise rapidly which isn't always a bad thing, and he has since just finished his second treatment and we are awaiting his next results from the second session. HOWEVER, over the weekend my dad attended a rugby game, upon sitting in his seat in the crowd a spectator two rows behind him was pushed and fell on my dad. In particular on his back, where he has had most of his pain. Since then, when I have spoken to my dad he told me his back and felt fine and then the other night he told me he was in alot of pain. I know this may be an irrational question but could having this man fall on my dads back evoke the cancer in a bad way? I understand it could crack or fracture his bones as they are weak but could the fall have a direct correlation with cancer activity in the future?
I know I am very vague on my knowledge of his PSA and gleeson score, but if anyone who has been in the same position and been exposed to cancer share their experiences it would be much appreciated.
Thank you
