I'm so sorry to see this. I second what Peter said -- I hope it is some comfort that he didn't have to suffer long with the emotions that follow the horrible news you'd just gotten.
You'll be in my thoughts and prayers

Nancy, prayers and blessings are coming from my home to yours. My condolences to you and your family on the loss of your husband. There isn't much any of us can say that will lessen the pain and loss, but we are all here to offer support and comfort however we can.

So sorry for your loss. Sounds like he was surrounded by love and was taken care of by you. Also, how great is it to be able to say goodbye to all of your employees.

Nancy, my email is available too if you want to email and I can send you my phone number. I can not do anything to change what has happened but I hold out my hand to you to help steady you in this new journey. It is too much right now but know I am here.
My sympathies on your loss.

Blessing to you and your family.
Cancer is like a mean dog that will bite you suddenly.
This time it bit hard.
Thank you for your post.

Nancy,
Reading this breaks my heart. Prayers and positive thoughts headed to you and your family.
Words are often empty in times like this... but honestly know I'm thinking about
you. Strange how you can feel the pain of strangers.

Dear Nancy, my prayers go out to you and your family. This was very similar to my Dads passing. God Bless.

I too am very sorry for your loss. We're are all the same here. Fighting a battle. Some of us will carry on the fight longer, and, some of us will fall, but it never hurts less to hear of one of our brothers passing. I'm so glad to hear that there was someone with him, to bring him home, to let him know that he was loved. I read that in your post despite your attempt at keeping a stiff upper lip. I am going to go hug my wife when she returns this evening.

Another soldier/warrior........when can this stop? So many have gone this year......fast, slow....doesn't matter....it's that they are GONE.
We are left numb to the pain that we couldn't help make go away.......he's in a better place....but that's suppose to be my your side...what better place is there?
It makes me angry....knowing that so many more of us caregivers will be sharing grief with Nancy, Cathy, Pat and along with so many other's .....
I keep seeing my husband losing his battle every day. Taking the chemo therapies and still feeling fatigue, nauseous, weight lose, eyes not as bright as they once were, the guy he used to be before PC. I'm glad that it was fast and not this slow debilitating journey we have been on.
Sorry for my rantings...but I get so @#$% upset when I see another message like this one.....
More tears flood my eyes for you Nancy as I know I will follow in your footsteps sooner than I want..........be strong....

Nancy, also very saddened and sorry by the passing of your husband. May he rest in peace, may you find some comfort from your memories together over time.
When we lose a PC here, regardless, I think we each lose a piece of ourselves.
David
