In the the past twelve years I have lost two beautiful wives to this demon cancer, although time heals the heart, our minds store every remnant of life we shared. When past memories drift into present toughts I can only smile and say thank you for keeping in touch. You will smile again.

Nancy, I am so so sorry. I remember reading your posts and thinking "Nancy´s hubby will be fine for a long time"...seems like he got cheated out of a few years of life. It just shows the strain of cancer he had was particulary agressive. Thank you for all the support you have provided to others, you are a better person for going through this with him and supporting him from the first to the last minute. We will still be here if you want to share. So sorry...

Though I wish you did not have them to share, I hope posting these facts, somewhere where they are particularly meaningful, along with the kind words posted in response are comforting. May the good memories of your husband's life live long in your mind and heart.

Nancy, I am so very sorry for your loss of your dear husband. We don't know each other and I don't post on the PC forum, but I happened to see your post and just felt I needed to reach out. I lost the love of my life at the age of 49 almost 4 months ago and I still cry every single day and miss him every moment. Although ill for several years, the end was unexpected and way too sudden. May you one day find peace and serenity - until then, just take things one day at a time....one hour at a time if you need to. I am just so sorry....

A truly heartbreaking story.

I have a had a bad day but your story had reminded me that my wife is suffering every bit as much as me all the way through this. You show that we are all in this together. So sorry for your loss.
