tumor volume (cc) 0.5
largest tumor size (cm) 1.1 cm.

Im suppose to get fiducial marker on Tuesday then start rads in a week.

I have absolutely no side effects from rrp.
Dr. doesn't think I will have any from rads either.
I got a second opinion from my urologist who has nothing
to do with rad dr. and he said go for it .
I did have hodgkins 15 yrs ago and had chemo and rads .
What scares me is if it ever spread to area I already had rads to
for the hodgkins ,I wouldn't be able to have rad treatment there again.
My thoughts are better safe than sorry.

As far as radiating a second time, it depends on the actual doses and the passage of time between therapies. My wife had breast cancer in 1996 and her treatment included maximum radiation to the right breast. In 2010 she had another cancer in the same breast and her treatment included radiation again. The physicists and dosemitrists use the total radiation and passage of time to determine what can be done. She has had less side effects from her second radiation than her first showing how much more advanced the treatments have become.
