trimix injection--hit a blood vessel

2 days ago I gave myself a shot and I guess I hit a blood vessel.

The left side of my penis is almost black and blue.  It doesn't hurt but it looks real bad. I looked like I hit only the vessel the first time and thats all that was blue but now it's almost the whole left side.

Any help on how long it will last.   Thanks

A bit confused... it has happened twice? The first time it just looked like a blue spot but this time it's bigger and showier? You might talk to your doctor about it. Most hematomas go away by themselves but how long it will take depends on how big it is, what sort of circulation you have, etc..

Your instructions should tell you to keep pressure on the injection site for a few minutes after you inject. If you take blood thinners (like Coumadin) then you need a few extra minutes of pressure. Ask your urologist about it.

Let me explain a little better.
When I gave myself a shot Monday it turned a little blue like I hit a vein. This was the first time this has happened. The next day more of my penis turned blue and it seemed to be under the foreskin and not where I gave myself the shot. I guess some of the blood got under there and it will just have to go away.

If it seems bigger tomorrow than it is today call your urologist and ask if he wants to see it. If the he says yes he will be lying. Nobody wants to see it. But that's why urologists get paid the big bucks.

Hope you are feeling better and there are no lasting effects. In the future when injecting yourself make sure you aren't in a vein...

All you need to do is once the needle is placed you hold it steady and instead of giving the plunger a push to inject the medicine, pull up a bit to see if you get any blood return in the syringe. if no, go ahead and inject. If yes... find another place to inject in...

Nobody on earth can convince me that injecting your penis with a needle with a substance that makes it get rock hard isn't going to injure you. Nobody can convince me that trimix injections does not cause Peyronies. Messing with that trimix is dangerous business period.

Pretty sure you've got the blood aspiration thing backwards. Even in a flaccid state the corpus cavernosus is pretty much full of blood. Where you want the tip of the needle to wind up is in one of the cavernosus sinuses -- the small chambers inside the erectile tissue that are like the holes in a sponge. They always have some blood in them. If you can't draw back any blood you may be in a thickened part of the fibrous tissue surrounding the sinuses (maybe a bit of scarification).

The veins you need to avoid when injecting are the ones just under the skin and outside the tunica albugenia (the veins you can see). No point poking holes in those if you don't need to.

I started Trimix last year after Viagra didn’t work any more. I’m 67.
I have found I have to be very careful lining up the syringe with the proper muscle before insertion or I could hit a blood vessel or I don’t hit the muscle right on the center of the muscle body.
Yes I have had a few episodes of blood pocketing under the skin and it’s not good.
It takes about one week for the dried blood to go away. There is no pain.
Got to be extremely careful and aim. Also warm up you penis before applying. Good luck.

After reading these posts my issue seems to be minimal. After I woke this morning, I noticed a small blood blister at the injection site.
Granted the serum was about 10 days past the do not use date , I also had some puffy area , So I’m guessing the serum did not find its intended landing area.
