Xtandi side effects?

I have been on Xtandi just 2 months now, plus I am still on Zoladex (ADT). There is really no change to prior to commencing Xtandi, maybe a little more fatigue. But this is hard to measure because there are so many factors that come into play. Otherwise I have found no difference in how I feel or what I can do.
Come 8 o'clock at night I am history, also at work if I am just doing paperwork in the early afternoon it is difficult but if I have lots of people coming and going or phone calls it is okay. Meetings can be a challenge.
You need to be careful with your blood pressure, I have had heart surgery so my Doctors are particularly careful with my BP, I take my BP every morning and keep a record.
On the plus side my PSA came down from 18 to 2.4 in 30 days, this is remarkable. My PSA on 5/5/2014 was lower than 1/4/2011 when it was 3.2. I am due for another blood test next week, so it will be interesting to see what my PSA is doing. You are entering into the phase of walking on egg shells , will it be up or down !
That has been my experience, but I am sure we are all different and drugs have a varying effect on us all.

I started a thread back in January 2013 (I think) about the side effects of Xtandi. My husband started on Xtandi after taxotere. PSA dropped, but in October 2013, it was rising, therefore stopped and started on Jevtana (cabazitaxel). Side effects, fatigue, lose of energy......check that thread and see if it will help you. I must say though, some of our "PC soldiers" have left this journey but their caregiveing warriors may still "check in" and will comment.

My husband has been on Xtandi for 20 months now. He is 13 years out from surgery and has had just about all the treatments that seem "normal". He had Taxotere, then 2 months on Zytiga, which caused a flair up of his liver, so was then given the Xtandi. He has the following side effects, not sure they are the Xtandi, chemo, or just age, but here is where he is currently:
Pain in his hands and feet- may be neuropathy(?)
has bad stomach pain nightly after taking the Xtandi
tires out by about 9pm
has been experiencing some memory loss

his appetite is good
works out at the gym 3 x a week
works in the yard several hours a day
All in all, things are going well for him. His current PSA is .21 and he sees his oncologist monthly and gets a Lupron shot.
I was really scared when I read the side effects, but all in all, he has responded well. His average time per treatment has been 20 to 24 months, so will be interesting to see just how long the Xtandi will keep working!
