Just chill out!!! They will get better, er, less troublesome.
Mine came on like a freight train at first but after several months became more gradual and gentle. With experience, I found that when I was busy they were diminished, when I was sedentary they took over, alcohol and caffiene brought them on so I gave up caffiene! Had to be reasonable, after all. Also more pronounced at night. I found that taking a 5mg melatonin each evening helped me relax and sleep through them better.
The one treatment I tried was Megace/Megestral. Didn't work and made me gain even more weight. I am now on a HT vacation and can say that the flashes have greatly subsided.
