Well, I finished 37 sessions of SRT over 8 weeks, 66.6 Gys total last Monday. Boy, was that a long grind of everyday disruption of my mornings.
Final report: the next to last week saw greater issues with side effects than I was expecting, with the last week even more so. After about
5 weeks, I could really start to feel a difference in my fatigue level, 7th week was worse, along with increased discomfort when peeing, like a mild urinary tract infection, which really stepped up in burning and increased urgency level the final week. The final week had me darting to the bathroom every 30 minutes, thinking I needed to pee bad, then just dribbling. The burning and stinging increased each day of the final week. I am just glad that I didn't have one more week to go. I also had more bowel issues with loose stools.
Now a week after treatment stopped, things are much more comfortable and I continue to feel better daily. The urgency is gone now and the burning is back to being a minor annoyance. The bowel issues are slowly clearing up, but still a greater issue than I would like. The fatigue is lifting-somewhat. I can't figure if it is from the SRT or my chronic laziness...
All in all, much improved in a week's time.
I tried the 'turn your pee orange' medicine, but had to stop as it didn't help any and made me sick to my stomach. I test in Sept. so that's that until then. I plan on having a summer without testing worries and a feeling of dread hanging over everyday life.
