Welcome aboard John! Now that you have joined the club nobody wants to be a member of, you have many friends that will help with your questions in the coming months (and years).
I had my surgery 2 years ago next week and I was 61 at the time.
The guys have already given you a preview of what to expect. All I can add is to be a patient patient!
A couple of things you may not know is you CAN have an orgasm without a full erection, yep!
An since you had the surgery, no semen will come out anymore, your wife will like that part.
As PDA mentioned, your surgeon should put you on an ED rehab program, almost immediately. I started taking Viagra 72 hours after the catheter was removed to get blood flowing again down there.
You'll need to work on the incontinence, hopefully you will be dry in the coming months. about
10% of us are not dry after a year, lucky me, I was one of them.
All of us who had surgery wanted to 1) Get the cancer out 2) Get dry quickly 3) Regain our sex life again, usually in that order. So far you just completed step one.
We will be here for you, we are
open 24/7. We have members from England to Australia so someone will answer your call if you log in.
Heal Well!!!!!!!!!!!!
